Miami, Florida

Must See & Do!

  • South Beach

It goes without saying that a day at South Beach is an absolute necessity when staying in Miami. I was truly shocked with the quality of the beach the first time I visited, as it feels as though you are in the Caribbean with super bright blue water that is very warm! Settle in with a nice book or go the more active route with Spikeball :)

  • Art Basal

Art Basal in Miami South Beach is truly an incredible experience that I am so grateful I had the opportunity to attend. The entire city is bustling with people, all with a passion for art. A new bonus is the fusion of NFTs, or digital art, with the more traditional art forms for a really modern and unique experience

  • Walk/Run/Bike by South Beach

Right next to the beach, there is a beautiful path that stretches the entire length of Miami South Beach and is a perfect place for a run, walk or bike ride! Every time I have stayed in South Beach, a highlight is the run by the water, though make sure to go early in the morning, especially if you are visiting in the summer!

Food & Drinks

  • Drinks at the Ritz Carlton

While the Ritz Carlton is a bit out of my price range to stay, I really enjoyed visiting the beach front bar for drinks in the afternoon! The view is incredible and it is a great place to go before dinner :)

  • Havana 1957

Havana 1957 is a chain that you should readily be able to find throughout Miami. Normally when I think of chains, I am not necessarily impressed with the food but this place was the exact opposite! My boyfriend and I have gone multiple times to this place, and it never disappoints. It has incredible traditional Cuban food and delicious mojitos!

  • Limoncello

Limoncello is an incredible Italian restaurant in downtown Miami Beach. All of the waiters are so charming and speak Italian, which was such a treat! I am still dreaming about the bolognese I had and cannot wait to go back!

  • Joe's Stone Crab

Joe’s Stone Crab is a very unique restaurant in Miami that I highly recommend going to if you tend to enjoy seafood (or even if you are curious). The stone crab is truly delicious and incredibly fresh! Enjoy with many sides, our favorites were the corn and the fries!
